Licensed casino games Australia: how licensing works

When a lobby claims “licensed,” I verify whether it’s tied to recognised regulators. That’s why licensed casino games Australia reviews mention MGA and UKGC references. For Malta’s licensing requirements, refer to MGA.

UKGC gambling standards as a benchmark, not a guarantee

Even when an Australian player isn’t regulated by the UK, UKGC standards are a useful lens: they focus on transparency, risk management, and consumer protection. In my research process, I compare these principles with what the operator publicly states. If you’re reading terms, also review Gambling Help Online for support pathways and explore UKGC for compliance background.

Interac eTransfer for poker players

While Interac eTransfer is more common in Canada, some global poker brands offer similar e-transfer rails for AU customers via local partners. The key is checking whether your account verification allows you to withdraw to the same method. For payment provider fundamentals, see Interac resources on how transfers work.

St Kilda Repair Cafe

Join us at the St Kilda Repair Cafe!

We are a volunteer based group of fixers and menders who meet once a month to hold this repair event for the community.

You can bring along your things that need fixing or mending for free and our volunteers will assess the items and try to help repair them.

We aim to keep more items out of landfill, help attendees learn how to repair, give the items a second life and live more sustainably!

How do I know if it can be fixed?

You can email the repair cafe (stkilda.repaircafe@gmail.com) with an explanation of the fault including pictures where appropriate, and we’ll give you an idea of whether it’s worth bringing in the item to one of our repair cafe sessions.

Want to get involved?

If you’re interested in helping keep the St Kilda Repair Cafe up and running, we’re always happy to welcome new volunteers. There’s more information on our Get Involved page, or click below to sign up.

Please note:  All our fixers are VOLUNTEERS, and there is no charge made for the fixes they do. However any cash donations people would like to make are welcomed to help us cover our costs (website, glues & other materials used from time to time.)

St Kilda Bike Kitchen

The volunteers of the St Kilda Bike Kitchen run an open workshop at the Repair Cafe (usually outside at the front of the EcoCentre).

The volunteers have the necessary skills and bicycle-specific tools to help you fix most of the problems you may be having with your bicycle.

The St Kilda Bike Kitchen is a non-profit, all-volunteer-run organization which teaches folks how to maintain and repair their own bicycles.  Their mission is to grow and support a vibrant and welcoming community, where any person can learn to build, maintain and repair bicycles; and to nurture ecological sustainability and personal well-being by promoting the bicycle as a fun, safe and accessible form of transportation.

For more information about the SKBK or if you would like to join their project, please contact them at stkbikekitchen@gmail.com.  You can also find them at www.facebook.com/stkbikekitchen
